About Slipstream
History Of Slipstream
Slipstream Adventures was founded on August 9th, 1990, by Tom Benson,
Brooks Hogya, and Gord Ross and grew to be one of the top providers
of outdoor vacations and educational programs on the west coast
of Canada.
In 1998, Slipstream Adventures split it's operations into four categories/divisions:
Mountain Guiding and Instruction; Rock and Ice Guiding and Instruction;
Backcountry Trips and Leadership Training; and, Wilderness First
Aid Instruction. This allowed each area to provide consistent customer
service and ensure efficient delivery of Slipstream's programs.
This means you get a better program no matter which area of Slipstream's
programs that you chose to participate in.
Why We are Different
Our Location
We have recently developed a series of cliffs on our headquarters
property at Paradise Valley, just 20 minutes north of Squamish.
These cliffs can provide clients with a personal instructional experience
away from the crowds of the Squamish cliffs. They boast a wide variety
of technical climbing from beginner grades to a much more advanced
level of climbing. Plus our instructors are intimately acquainted
with the cliffs as they were the ones to discover and clean them.
It is an excellent location to provide clients with an ideal learning
environment.

With cutting edge instruction and supportive Guides, we are dedicated

Slipstream's guides and instructors possess extensive guiding experience
in their fields of specialty and are well known for their ability
