PARADISE VALLEY CRAGS
Slipstream has recently developed an exciting new private climbing
area located at their headquarters in Paradise Valley, just 20 minutes
north of Squamish. It is designed and set up with instructional
courses in mind and has a variety of climbs accommodating a range
of participants from the complete novice to someone climbing at
an advanced level.

Our guides are also intimately acquainted with the cliffs immediately
surrounding the town of Squamish and can provide a quality learning

VICTORIA
Some of Canada's leading climbers have been bred in the elusive
cliff faces surrounding Victoria on Vancouver Island. Although,
in the past Victoria was not reputed to be a climbing destination
in it's own right, it now offers many newly developed locations
suitable for an excellent and exciting climbing day or two.

Mt Grimface
Located in Cathedral Park, Mt Grimface's setting is one of massive,
mesa-like summits, bouldery valleys and wide open vistas. Located
inland, the climate here also tends to be more settled, meaning
more days for climbing!
Skaha, Penticton
Skaha has a lot to offer everyone from the beginner to the quite
advanced climber. The rock is gneiss offering steep knobbly texture
and generous holds although there are some delightful fingery face
climbs to be found throughout the range of about 50, mainly single
pitch, cliffs.
Marble Canyon, Lillooet
The setting of these limestone cliffs is outstanding with towering
walls rising above sparkling lakes in the valley. It can be unbearably
hot in summer but it's dry climate makes it an ideal fall and spring
destination.

UNITED STATES LOCATIONS
Smith Rocks, Oregon
Do you fancy heading for warmer climates? The fact that this crag
is located in a desert that rarely sees rain makes it a desirable
escape destination from BC's wet, cold winters.
Yosemite Valley, California
Famous for it's long wall climbs of exceptional quality, Yosemite
also offers some good quality day routes. Come and put your hands
on the holds that created legends!
Joshua Tree, Palm Springs
Although you will never be soaring up high with the eagles, the
sheer ambience and atmosphere of climbing in this desert location
make it a place not to be missed.
