Reconnaissance Trips
Do you want to go where we haven't ever gone before? For the ultimate adventure where the outcome is uncertain, the final destination unknown, join our staff as they expand their resume of climbing areas. Let our projects become your dreams. Or perhaps, let your projects become our dreams.

SHALL WE SURPRISE YOU?

NORTH FACE OF VIENNESE, Chehalis Range, BC
This dark, blocky tower of rock is located just NE of Mt Clark. It features an impressive wall facing the Clarke cirque and an even more spectacular face dropping to the north. It is this face that our guides would like to check out with you combining 5.10 climbing with some easier scrambling for a full day wall adventure.

SPRINGBOK ARETE, Ibex Peak, Anderson River Group, BC
This dramatic, arching south buttress offers one of the best hard rockclimbs in SW BC. Located on Ibex Peak this climb edges along a long east-facing wall between Ibex and Chamois. Rumor has it that it is a sustained and demanding route that is superb after the initial pitches.

EAST FACE OF COLONEL FOSTER, Strathcona Park, BC
This dramatic wall rises straight up from Landslide Lake and offers a great mixed bag of climbing including alpine ice, rock and Aid. This route would also include a bivy en route to the summit as there are approximately 20 pitches to the top. And coming down offers it's fair share of adventures too! Apparently there has been no second ascent and we want you to be the one with your name on that second ascent list.
